If rumors are true that Ryan Gosling has been cast in Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast,” the Beast may be more handsome than ever before!
According to The Tracking Board, Ryan is Disney’s top choice for the role and has been offered the part.
Emma Watson confirmed on January 26 that she’d been cast to star as Belle.

“I’m finally able to tell you… that I will be playing Belle in Disney’s new live-action ‘Beauty and the Beast’! It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I’ll get to dance to ‘Be Our Guest’ and sing ‘Something There’. My six year old self is on the ceiling – heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can’t wait for you to see it. Emma xx,” she posted on Facebook.
“Beauty and the Beast” will be directed by Bill Condon and is slated to begin shooting later this year.

Disney is also converting other animated classics into live-action adaptations. “Cinderella” – starring Lily James, Helena Bonham Carter and Cate Blanchett – opens March 15 and “Jungle Book” – directed by Jon Favreau – is in the works.
