Healthy Hollywood: Get Movin’ Monday – Gwyneth’s Fitness Weapon!

Gwyneth recently turned 40 and looks better than ever!

The busy mother of two showed off her enviable figure at an event to celebrate the release of good friend and trainer Tracy Anderson’s “Pregnancy Project” DVD.

Anderson, who also whipped celebrity moms Kate Hudson and Molly Sims into post-baby shape, created her latest fitness DVD for expectant moms to keep in shape. After announcing her second pregnancy in 2012, Anderson began production on “Pregnancy Project” and developed a series of exercise routines for each month of pregnancy.

“I think it’s really important for women to have the tools that really work during pregnancy, because pregnancy is difficult enough as it is,” reveals Anderson to Healthy Hollywood.

This DVD features nine different workouts, plus advice on nutrition and staying healthy during pregnancy. Gwyneth, who is also Tracy’s business partner, says she’s inspired by Tracy’s no-nonsense approach to working out and helped Anderson launch this must-have pregnancy guide.

“She’s invented something extraordinary that works really well. That’s why when I first started [The Tracy Anderson] method I thought ‘I have to help bring this to more women,’” says Gwyneth to Healthy Hollywood, who adds, “Obviously she had helped me through my post pregnancy, and when she pregnant, I thought, “You know women really want a gentle, loving, connective fitness program for each semester.”

Yet, Gwyneth, who has two kids, 8-year-old daughter Apple and 6-year-old son Moses, surprisingly never felt the pressure to take off the baby weight. “I was like home in sweatpants and breast-feeding for a long time. I really took my time. But when I started to want to get back into shape, I was so thankful to find Tracy.”
