Healthy Hollywood: Wellness Wednesday – Get Skin Like Kim Kardashian!

Kim Kardashian has the most gorgeous skin. The other day I was interviewing the reality star and I couldn’t help but notice her flawless complexion. Radiant. Glowing. Kim’s got the most un-freaking-believably perfect skin!

So, I got inspired to find out some tips for healthier looking skin! First off, the weather is getting colder and the winds are kicking up – so it’s the right time to fall into a new skincare routine. “Since your skin can change along with the season, it’s important to re-evaluate your beauty regimen to ensure your skin is getting proper care,” reveals Clinique’s skin care expert Nancy Glass.

Dry, tight and/or flaky skin is the season’s most common complexion complaint. “In the winter, your skin becomes dry and dull due to the cold, dry air that can suck the moisture out of your skin. The wind also dehydrates the skin and can cause it to chafe and crack.” And Glass adds, “It’s important to conduct a customized daily beauty regimen of cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing based on your skin type to avoid having dry and dull skin all winter long.”

Clinique has a no-brainer approach with its 3-Step Skin Care System. “Step 1 – cleansing will remove dirt and oil and excess makeup, prepping skin for Step 2 – exfoliation,” explains Nancy. Then, finish off with a moisturizer. Also, be sure to wear sunscreen whenever you head outdoors.
