Howie Mandel Returning As Judge On America’s Got Talent (Access Exclusive)

Howie Mandel has signed on to return as a judge for the upcoming season of “America’s Got Talent,” Access Hollywood can exclusively reveal.

“I’m doing my fourth season of ‘America’s Got Talent,’” Howie told Access Hollywood’s Kit Hoover in a brand new interview on Tuesday morning in Burbank, Calif.

“I’m going to re-judge for my fourth year,” he added, with a laugh.

Howie joins Howard Stern, who previously signed on for his second season of the NBC reality competition, and an incoming third judge who will replace Sharon Osbourne, who exited the show in 2012.

“I’m thrilled to be back,” Howie said of returning to “AGT.” “This is my fourth year [and I think the talent] has been getting better and better every year.”

“America’s Got Talent’s” last round of casting auditions for Season 8 takes place this weekend in New Orleans on February 15 and 16.

Hopefuls can pre-register for the auditions at AGTAuditions.com.

“But, if you can’t make it there, just go to AGTAuditions.com and maybe you can send in a video,” Howie said of another way for acts to show off their talent – by uploading a video.

The judges will sit down for the first time to view the Season 8 contenders on March 4 in New Orleans.

“AGT” returns this summer on NBC.
