Human Nature Extends Contract Two More Years With Imperial Palace Las Vegas

It’s two more years in Las Vegas for Human Nature.

Imperial Palace Las Vegas has extended “Smokey Robinson Presents Australia’s Human Nature – The Ultimate Celebration of the Motown Sound,” through May 2012.

To mark the occasion, the 653-seat showroom has been appropriately renamed the Human Nature Theater. The group has made such an impact on the destination that May 11 was named, “Human Nature Day” in Las Vegas by Mayor Oscar Goodman.

“The guys in Human Nature not only have incredible voices but also deliver a dynamic show every time they are on stage. Their talent is undeniable and their passion for the music and sound is contagious,” said Rick Mazer, President of Imperial Palace.

Recently named “Best Singers” by editors of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the four members of Human Nature – Toby Allen, Phil Burton, Andrew Tierney and Michael Tierney – perform many of Motown’s greatest hits with distinctive and soulful harmonies.

The show features the vocal quartet performing a high-energy selection of memorable songs backed by a talented live band. Adding to the excitement is the fact that Human Nature is the first ever Australian singing group to have a longstanding show in Las Vegas.

“The members of Human Nature are extraordinary vocalists who truly know how to entertain and I knew that they would be hugely-successful here on stage in Las Vegas,” said Motown legend Smokey Robinson. “The guys and I are delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with Imperial Palace.”

Known for their outstanding concert and stage performances, Human Nature has opened for superstars Celine Dion and Michael Jackson. Human Nature originally formed as a Doo Wop group while the men were still attending high school in Sydney.

Since then, they’ve racked up an impressive 70 Top 40 Hits and five Top 10 Hits on the Australian pop charts. They made their US debut in 2008 and have recently released their first American CD. The band’s previous albums have all gone multi-platinum in Australia and have been successful on international charts.

The show performs six nights a week (dark Friday) at 7:30 p.m. in the Human Nature Theater. Tickets are $49.95 (plus tax and fees) and VIP $59.95 (plus tax and fees) and can be purchased by calling (888) 777-7664 or online at www.imperialpalace.com.
