Jack Quaid Suggests The Hunger Games ‘Undie Run’ For DVD Release

Jack Quaid, Dayo Okeniyi and Alexander Ludwig are hoping to be a part of some special events when “The Hunger Games” is released on DVD/Blu-Ray next month.

“I think we’re doing some stuff in August,” Jack told Access Hollywood at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, over the weekend “I’m not really quite sure what, but we’re gonna get out there.”

“We’re all gonna get ‘Hunger Games’ tattoos on our a**es, so that’ll be great… And go streaking through the cities, which is going to be great, so any fan who wants to come is welcome to come,” Alexander added, clearly tongue-in-cheek.

“That will be a sight to behold — the fallen tributes,” Dayo chimed in.

Then, Jack offered another idea to his fellow “Hunger Games” cast members.

“All I’m gonna say is ‘Hunger Games’ Undie Run. That’s gonna happen. That’s happening man. That’s what’s going on,” he joked.

The cast of the first film in the Suzanne Collins-authored franchise said they remain thankful to filmmakers for allowing them to be part of the blockbuster.

“Projects like this are few and far between and it’s great to be a part of something that’s not only critically acclaimed, but people genuinely love,” Dayo told Access. “And it’s gonna follow us ‘til the day we die.”

“This all kind of hit us by storm very quickly, so it’s been an amazing few months,” Alexander added.

The DVD/Blu-Ray release of the film – which is out August 18 at 12:01 AM — will contain plenty of special features, including behind-the-scenes footage shot by the cast themselves.

“That was really awesome. We got these little Flipcams… to record like everything leading up to the premiere, like all the mall tours,” Dayo said. “It’s really awesome, because we’ve seen it and it’s so candid. I think it really shows fans how much of fans we are, because there’s footage of us like seeing posters of ‘The Hunger Games’ around town and just geeking out over it, and going to the premiere and how exciting that was and it was electric… It’s really, really cool.”

“It gives a chance to experience what we experienced firsthand, so it’s like they’re doing it with us,” Alexander said.
