Fish Mooney is coming back to “Gotham.”
Despite the seemingly fatal exit of Jada Pinkett-Smith’s
character at the end of the Season 1 finale, at the hands of her former
protégé, Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), she is set to return to
the Fox series.
On Friday, the network announced Jada will be back for
multi-episode arc in Season 2.
Jada’s exact return date as Fish has yet to be revealed, but
the show resumes on Monday, Feb. 29 at 8/7c, as Penguin “takes a hit” (according to Fox) for the murder of Theo Galavan (James Frain), which occurred with Detective
Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie) help in the fall finale.
