Jane Lynch Files For Divorce

Jane Lynch has filed for divorce.

The “Glee” star filed papers to officially end her marriage to Lara Embry in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, according to People.

The actress, 52, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the couple’s split and asked the court not to award spousal support to her soon-to-be ex-wife, the mag reported.

Jane announced she and Lara, a psychologist, had separated in June.

“Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another,” the actress said in a statement at the time. “We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter.”

The couple met in 2009 and got married in 2010 in Sunderland, Mass., with just 19 friends and family in attendance, including Lara’s daughter, Haden.

Jane can currently be seen on Broadway as Miss Hannigan in “Annie” and is hosting NBC’s new game show, “Hollywood Game Night.”
