Janet Jackson Returning To Tour Following Illness

Janet Jackson is returning to her “Rock Withchu Tour,” following an illness that put her on the sidelines.

Promoters Live Nation confirmed to Access Hollywood that the superstar will return to her cross country trek beginning Saturday, October 11 in Uncasville, CT.

“Janet, who has been under her doctor’s care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever,” Live Nation said in a statement.

The singer canceled a string of concerts in Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia and Greensboro, North Carolina after she fell ill and was rushed to hospital during a pre-concert sound check, Monday September 29 in Montreal.

Janet visited another hospital earlier in the year, after being hit with a bout of flu in March.
