Jason Momoa As Aquaman – First Look!

Fans are getting the first glimpse of Jason Momoa as Aquaman – and it does not disappoint!

“There is only one true King. #unitetheseven,” director Zack Snyder wrote in a Tweet on Thursday night that included a photo of a trident-wielding, armor-clad Jason.

The hashtag “#unitetheseven” might refer to the seven seas, but more likely is a reference to the members of the Justice League: Aquaman (Momoa), Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Green Lantern (yet to be cast) and The Flash (yet to be cast).

Aquaman is rumored to make a cameo in the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” due out on March 25, 2016.

The character will appear in “Justice League Part One” (Nov. 17, 2017) and then star in his own movie (July 27, 2018) and then return to the big screen in “Justice League Part Two” (June 14, 2019).

Back in August, Snyder teased fans during a chat with Detroit radio station 97.1, saying,”[Aquaman] cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact…He’s super strong. It’s not to say that he’s in the movie or anything like that but…he has the potential to be badass.”
