Jennifer Aniston Surprised With ‘Friends’ Reunion

Jennifer Aniston was surprised with a “Friends” reunion on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday night.

“I love this show so much that I actually wrote some fan fiction,” Jimmy told Jen, who was there to promote her new movie, “Life of Crime.” “I was just wondering if you would do the scene from it with me?”

Jimmy spared no expense when it came to running lines with the actress. He then unveiled a replica of the sitcom’s set.

“I actually spent $80,000 making it,” he said of the recreation of the show’s kitchen set. “Every detail is correct.”

Jimmy attempted to get the actress to wear a “Rachel” wig for the scene, but Jen protested, telling Jimmy, “I’ve gotta have boundaries.”

In the scene, Jimmy played David Schwimmer’s Ross Geller character and Jen reprised her Rachel Green role.

“Ross, you look sad today. What’s the matter?” Jen asked.

“Rachel, we haven’t made love in months,” Kimmel said. “How about we make love right now?”

“Jimmy, I know that’s my line but this is a really stupid line. It’s dumb. It’s really dumb,” Jen said, breaking character.

“Is it dumber than living in a huge apartment in New York City for eight years even though you work in a coffee shop?” Jimmy countered.

And the “Friends” fun didn’t stop there – Courteney Cox then made an entrance as Monica Geller as the audience applauded.

“Hi, Ross. Everyone down at Central Perk is talking about how good you are at making love. You’re said to be so good at it that sometimes, I wish you would make love to me,” Courteney said.

This was followed by Lisa Kudrow’s entrance as Phoebe Buffay, where she was supposed to utter Joey’s catchphrase, “How you doin’?”

“Wait, that’s Joey’s catchphrase. Why am I saying it?” Lisa asked.

“Because I wrote the script and there is no Joey anymore, that’s why. Marcel the monkey bit them and gave them monkey rabies and they died,” Jimmy joked. “Now can everyone please try acting like you’ve been on a TV set and read the lines? This isn’t some kind of improv camp. This is television.”
