Jennifer Lopez Talks Designing & Being Bossed Around By Her Toddlers

Jennifer Lopez is known for being one of Hollywood’s most curvaceous girls, but fashion fans don’t need her assets to wear her new line for Kohl’s.

“I grew up in the Bronx, [where there were] all different types of women, all different body types, some super skinny,” Jennifer told Access Hollywood on Sunday. “I had super skinny girls in my family — my sister was super skinny … The truth is, they all were beautiful and they all had sex appeal they were all attractive in their own way and that’s the thing with clothing, you just have to find what works for you. And with our collection, we made it for every woman.”

Beyond designing, Jennifer is busy working on acting projects – like the film “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” – and judging “American Idol” auditions, and she’s also enjoying time with twins Max and Emme, 3.

“They totally boss me around. ‘Don’t sit there!’ That’s my son. He looks at me just like (makes face),” Jennifer laughed.

“But they’re amazing and funny. They make you laugh when they do things like that,” she continued. “They’re coming into their own [as people]. You see that they’re fully formed adults in those little bodies.”

Like her mom, Emme is a stylish little lady.

“Emme loves fashion, she loves clothes and frilly things and her favorite — you know, like every little girl — her favorite color is pink and purple,” Jennifer said. “Like, ‘OK! Great, Let’s get you some pink and purple stuff.’”
