Jessica Simpson just can’t catch a break.

Fresh off her split from NFL beau Tony Romo, Jessica was in Japan early Tuesday morning (local time) when a 6.6 earthquake shook the region.

“thought i was hallucinating durning (sic) a 6.6 earthquake in japan,” Jessica posted on her Twitter page following the quake. “i have never felt anything like this in my life. laying in bed watching cnn.”

According to the Associated Press, the 6.6 quake shook Tokyo and its surrounding areas shortly after 5 AM local time on Tuesday.

No casualties from the quake were immediately reported.

Jessica is in Japan to begin filming on her new VH1 reality show, “The Price of Beauty,” which follows the singer as she tours seven different countries chronicling what societies worldwide are willing to do for beauty.

However, Jessica wasn’t the only celebrity in Japan during the earthquake.

Beyonce and sister Solange Knowles were in Japan on Monday to promote the Samantha Thavasa & Disney handbag collection kickoff at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.

“wtf! wtf! wtf! my sister said she was scared out of her mind and calling my mom and i was snoring. 6.6????? omg! omg! omg! tsunami watch???” Solange posted on her Twitter page.

Although it clearly shook Beyonce, Solange added that she slept right through it.

“how did i sleep through a SERIOUS earthquake. AGAIN. Japan. wtf?” she wrote.
