Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson’s wedding date is a highly guarded secret – even from the rest of the Simpson clan!
“I can tell you one thing, not one person has nailed [our wedding] date on the head. Nobody knows yet,” Jessica told Access Hollywood guest correspondent Jayde Donovan recently while promoting her new NBC reality series, “Fashion Star.”
“Me, Eric and the wedding planner,” she said, referring to the people who know when her big day will happen.
“You keep the family away from that info?” Jayde asked.
“You know, we’re doing it on our own,” the star said.
Adding, “It’s nice.”
Jessica got engaged to Eric, a former NFL player, in November 2010. The couple hopes to wed by Christmas 2011.
“Fashion Star” – with host Elle McPherson and fellow mentors Nicole Richie (House of Harlow and Winter Kate designer) and designer John Varvatos – is slated to debut on NBC in early 2012.
