Jimmy Fallon ‘Freaking Out’ About Hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’; Will Justin Timberlake Return For A Cameo?

Jimmy Fallon spent six years on the “Saturday Night Live” stage as a cast member and this weekend, the comedian-turned-late-night-host will return to host the sketch show – a duty that’s giving the funnyman butterflies.

“I’m freaking out because I’m just the biggest fan of the show – even before I became a cast member – and now hosting is a dream come true,” Jimmy told Access Hollywood at an “SNL” rehearsal in New York City on Thursday. “I mean, these guys are the best at what they do… it’s so exciting and so fun to be here. It’s gonna be a great show.”

Michael Buble will serve as musical guest for Saturday’s show, and Jimmy revealed the singer will also show off his comedy skills.

“He’s gonna do sketches too. We’re gonna make Michael Buble sing and just make a fool of himself, which he is totally on board with doing,” Jimmy said. “He’s awesome.”

As for whether fan-favorite “Barry Gibb Talk Show” co-star Justin Timberlake will return to “talk it up” with Jimmy’s Barry Gibb, Jimmy said the audience will have to wait and see.

“Yeah, there’ll be some special guests coming back – that’s all I want to say,” he told Access with a coy smile. “I don’t’ want to say who or what, but a couple of old friends are coming back, and we’ll do something fun.”
