Joey Fatone’s ‘Devastating’ Dancing WithThe Stars Elimination

Joey Fatone – a veteran of Season 4 – and professional partner Kym Johnson were sent packing on Tuesday’s “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” and the former *NSYNC member was still reeling from – what many are calling – his surprise elimination.

“It’s kind of like, in a sense, devastating that we’re not going be able to do other performances but it’s like it is what it is,” he told Access Hollywood after the show.

His partner shared his sentiment.

“I’m disappointed… we had so much more that we wanted to do and I’m just going miss Joey,” Kym told Access. “I loved rehearsing with him every day.”

Joey appeared to be seeing the silver lining in his situation, telling Access, “Actually I’m feeling pretty good. I really am.

“It’s anybody’s game in this competition because you don’t know where the votes are coming from… You can be an amazing dancer and not have the greatest votes or you can be an okay dancer and have votes that are, you know, people are voting left and right,” he continued. “It gives everybody a check to go we need to step up our game even more now.”

Looking back, he’s happy with the way he performed.

“I think we did a great job, I wouldn’t change anything,” he said of his performance.

Except maybe his aches and pains.

“My back hurts, my feet hurts, my a** hurts… but I had a great time,” he joked.
