John Mayer Dedicates Love Song To Katy Perry

John Mayer has gone public with his love for Katy Perry.

The rocker gushed about his fellow singer and girlfriend once again at the kickoff night of his “Born & Raised” tour on Saturday night in Milwaukee.

John thanked Katy for her support as he recovered from his August 2012 throat surgery.

”[Katy is] more incredible than I ever thought,” he said from the stage in a video posted on YouTube from the concert.

When the singer didn’t have a voice following his surgery, the “Teenage Dream” singer would speak for him.

According to Rolling Stone, Katy looked on from the venue’s mixing board as John confessed his feelings to the crowd.

“She would order for me… and she would tell people, ‘It’s nice to meet you, he says,’” John recounted.

While the rocker was recording his latest album, he said their love wasn’t fazed by bad cell phone coverage or the distance between them.

“When I was in Montana…with bad service… she was so patient as to continue to get to know me and love me,” he continued.

He then launched into “A Face to Call Home,” a love song off his 2012 album “Born and Raised.”

“To Katy, who is my face to call home,” he said, as the crowd cheered.

Katy, 28, and John, 35, previously dated during summer of 2012, before splitting (for the first time) in August 2012. They first began dating after her divorce from Russell Brand, which was finalized in February 2012.
