After weeks of turmoil, Josh and Anna Duggar have found something to celebrate.
On Monday, the “19 Kids and Counting” star and his wife of nearly seven years resurfaced on social media for the first time since the family’s molestation scandal broke in May.
The couple took to their respective Instagram accounts in honor of their oldest son’s birthday, each posting a brief but heartfelt personal tribute.

“So glad to be in Arkansas celebrating Michael’s 4th birthday — we love you Mikey!” Anna wrote, captioning a black-and-white video of the boy blowing out his candles.
Josh shared a photo of a beaming Michael, complete with a text overlay reading, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL JAMES!” and also linked to the shot on his Twitter page.

Josh and Anna weren’t the only Duggars to commemorate the occasion. The family’s Facebook page also posted their well wishes, including a photo collage of Michael alongside his siblings and uncle.
“This boy is 4 years old today! He is clever and he is kind. There was a time we could not imagine anything as amazing than being parents,” the post read. “Now, we are grandparents too and we absolutely love everything about it! Happy, happy birthday Michael! Grandma and Grandpa Duggar love you so much!”
TLC pulled “19 Kids and Counting” from their lineup in the wake of reports that Josh had allegedly molested five young girls as a teen, including two of his sisters. His parents Jim Bob and Michelle, along with sisters Jessa and Jill, addressed the allegations in an interview with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly on June 5.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jessa acknowledged during the “Kelly File” segment that her brother’s actions were “very wrong,” but was quick to shoot down those calling him a pedophile. Both she and Jill have remained active on social media since, sharing updates on their own family lives.

As for Michael, he’ll be getting a belated birthday gift – another sibling! Josh and Anna Duggar are expecting their fourth child in July.
