Just call it a celebrity T-shirt duel.
Last weekend, Justin Bieber hit the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada, sporting a retro T-shirt featuring the lovely Tiffani Thiessen as her “Saved by the Bell” Bayside High heartbreaker, Kelly Kapowski.
And apparently, Tiffani has a bit of Bieber fever herself, as she proved on Thursday night in New York City.
The bombshell hit the red carpet for the “Horrible Bosses” premiere in NYC sporting – you guessed it – a Justin Bieber T-shirt.
Coincidence? Hardly.
“[It] was sweet to see him wearing my shirt so I just wanted to show the admiration back,” Tiffani told Access Hollywood on Friday, adding she is a Bieber fan.
Whether or not Bieber is a “Saved by the Bell” fan remains to be seen – although he would’ve obviously had to catch the show in re-runs many years later.
The series, starring Thiessen, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Dustin Diamond, Lark Voorhies and Elizabeth Berkley, went off the air in 1993.
Bieber was born in 1994.
