Justin Timberlake Blasts Runner Runner Haters

Justin Timberlake’s latest movie, “Runner Runner” with Ben Affleck, was slammed by critics and did not perform well at the box office, but the singer/actor is slamming back.

“The movie didn’t do well at the box office, so I should quit?” the 32-year-old told GQ, where he appears on the cover of the December 2013 Men of the Year issue.

The movie only scored a nine percent on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer and pulled in just over $19 million at the box office.

“If I was somebody else, you wouldn’t have said that. I have the number one album this week, and I shouldn’t have released it? Come on, man. You sound like a d**khead,” he continued, referring to his critics.

Justin even called out a specific type of critic in his interview.

“It just shocked me because, like, you’re trade magazines. None of your opinions count. And by the way, none of you can do it,” he continued.

The “TKO” singer credits his strong opinions to growing up in Memphis.

“It’s a struggling city with a defeatist attitude. I’m from this town, and I grew up with a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, so sometimes I find it funny that I’ve been able to acquire the patience it takes to be kind to people in our business,” he explained. “Because sometimes I just want to f**king kill everybody.”
