Karmin Gear Up For ‘Saturday Night Live,’ Talk Putting Wedding Plans On Hold

This weekend, Zooey Deschanel won’t be the only adorkable newcomer on stage at “Saturday Night Live.” The “New Girl” star will be joined by musical guests Karmin, who also fit the tag perfectly.

The real life couple of Nick Noonan and Amy Heidemann, who became YouTube sensations for their unique covers of pop hits like Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass,” and are gearing up for the release this spring of their first studio album of original material, “Hello,” told Access Hollywood they can’t wait for the big night.

“It’s more of like an anxiousness to just like, do it, because we’re super excited about it,” Nick told Access. “We just wanna like, we want Saturday to be like, last Wednesday!”

Amy and Nick spend all their time together touring as Karmin, and when their YouTube clips took off, it put a crimp in their wedding plans.

“We got engaged [in] December of 2010 and then we were supposed to get married fall of 2011 and it’s 2012. And we’re not married yet,” Nick said.

“They’re like, ‘Do you want to tour, release your first music video or get married? Pick one,’” Amy recounted of their options from those handling their career.

But, the wedding is just on hold.

“We’re still going to get married,” Nick noted.
