Katy Perry & John Mayer Record Duet With A ‘Love Giggle’

Katy Perry and John Mayer will be forever united in song!

The music couple has released their duet, “Who You Love,” which will appear on John’s upcoming “Paradise Valley” album (dropping on August 20).

The folky acoustic track is about love, naturally.

“My girl, she ain’t the one that I saw coming / Sometimes I don’t know which way to go / And I tried to run before but I’m not running anymore,” John sings.

The pop star responds with “My boy he ain’t the one that I saw coming / And some have said his heart’s too hard to hold / And it takes a little time / But you should see him when he shines.”

Katy opened up about the song during a chat on Monday with Sirius XM Hits, where she dished on the laughing heard at the end of the track.

“I think that’s just a love giggle,” the “Roar” singer said. “It’s like the ones that Mariah Carey had in 1990 and stuff like that . . . Yeah I think I was going for that, I think I was just so happy, I love that song.”

“Who You Love” is currently streaming on iTunes. Listen to the track here!
