Katy Perry Responds To Russell Brand’s Divorce Filing

More than a month after Russell Brand filed for divorce, Katy Perry has responded to her soon-to-be ex-husband’s filing in Los Angeles Superior Court.

In her own court filing, dated February 7 and obtained by Access Hollywood, Katy claims that the two parties have settled their property issues.

“The parties have entered into a comprehensive written settlement of all issues, including, without limitation, with respect to the property to be confirmed or assigned to each party,” her declaration reads.

Another declaration in the document claims the couple entered into an agreement, resolving “all issues.”

In addition to the hint that the split financially and property wise is being handled in amicable fashion, Katy has asked that a judge restore her name to Kathryn Elizabeth Hudson — her real name.

Katy also lists “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, in late December, Russell filed for divorce from his wife of a little over a year.

“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends,” Russell previously said in a statement to the Associated Press.

Russell and Katy married in October 2010.
