During his performance in front of a sold-out New York crowd on Wednesday night, Keith Urban sent an early Valentine’s Day message to his wife, Nicole Kidman.
During his encore inside Madison Square Garden, Urban dedicated his hit song, “Got It Right This Time,” to his pregnant wife Nicole, according to People.
However, Nicole was not there to hear the message, as she was back home in Australia.
But why didn’t Keith save his dedication for Thursday?
“It’s Valentine’s Day here tomorrow, but today it’s already Valentine’s Day in Australia,” Urban told the crowd, citing the vast time zone difference.
Nicole & Keith’s home near Sydney, Australia is 16 hours ahead of New York.
However, the heartfelt tribute wasn’t the only surprise Urban had in store for his female following.
At one point during the show, the country star walked into the crowd as he was playing one of his songs. After the song was over, he autographed his instrument and handed it to a lucky lady standing next to him in the crowd.
