She’s been an “Idol,” an actress and a Grammy winner – and now, you can just call Kelly Clarkson “mom.”
The singer gave birth to her first child on June 12, Kelly revealed on Twitter on Saturday.
“Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!! :),” she wrote.

It’s the first child for Kelly and husband Brandon Blackstock together; Brandon has two children from a previous marriage.
Kelly – who announced she was pregnant back in November – told fans she had a feeling it was going to be a girl, based on how she was feeling during the winter.
“I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!” Kelly wrote on Twitter in January after finding out the baby’s gender.
“Ladies if you r pregnant & sick as a dog trust me when I say the one thing u will keep down might just be “baked potatoes”#godblesspotatoes,” her Tweets continued.
Kelly and Brandon tied the knot in October 2013.
