Kendra Wilkinson Announces Pregnancy

Kendra Wilkinson and NFL star fiance Hank Baskett announced they are expecting.

“Hank and I are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child together,” the reality star told E! Online’s Marc Malkin. “We are touched by the outpouring of support by our family, friends and fans.”

Kendra confirmed the pregnancy news on her blog Wednesday.

“hi everyone!!!! so the rumors are true…i am pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hank and i were beyond excited when we found out the news and ive been dying to tell all of you but we were waiting for the perfect time to do it. im sorry if you heard it first elsewhere…that’s not how i wanted it to happen, but im so glad its out in the open now,” she wrote in typical blog speak.

It appears she’s hoping the new addition to the family will take after her athlete husband.

“i honestly still cant believe that soon hank and i are going to have a little athlete running around the house. seriously, the first thing this kid is going to see when its born is a football hahahahaha. do you think hank will let me dress the baby in a chargers jersey???” she continued.

And Kendra revaled she has big plans for the baby’s room.

“this is the best wedding gift i could have ever asked for and i cant wait until the time gets closer when i can start decorating the baby’s room and shopping for him or her…im definitely going to go ALL out!,” she added.

Kendra and Hank announced their engagement in November after the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver asked for her hand in marriage at the top of Seattle’s Space Needle.

In May, Kendra told E! they didn’t plan on wasting any time starting a family. “I plan on having them very soon,” the star, who just launched her “Girls Next Door” spin-off “Kendra,” said. “We want to be young parents and be able to chase around our kids and run and coach our kids. So, very soon.”

The couple’s baby news comes just weeks before their wedding at the Playboy Mansion on June 27.
