Kristen Stewart On Her ‘Eclipse’ Premiere Musical Inspiration & Why She Likes Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb’

Kristen Stewart may have recently praised the merits of Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb,” but to get ready for her “ The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday night, she stuck with tunes a little closer to home.

“I was literally listening to this — I was listening to the ‘Eclipse’ soundtrack,” she told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson of the LP, which features a theme song written by Canadian band Metric as well as cuts from Eastern Conference Champions and NYC’s dance-rockers The Bravery.

“I love it! I’m glad it’s playing right now too,” she said, referring to the music being pumped through the speakers at the LA premiere. “It’s making me feel good.”

Kristen said she reverts to Miley’s big ballad, however, when she needs to cheer up.

“I listen to ‘The Climb’ sometimes when I’m feeling a little down. It’s not too out of, you know, the realm of possibility for me,” Kristen said. “It’s not my typical type of music. I know it shocked people a little bit, but I think it’s an epic song.”

In related news, Kristen chimed in on the recent report that surfaced, linking co-star Robert Pattinson to Vlad the Impaler – the original inspiration for Dracula.

“Get out of here! Who found that out?” Kristen asked. “Well… makes sense, that’s you know… it’s kismet. It’s in the stars.”
