Could Lauren Conrad return to “The Hills?”
Kristin Cavallari said the MTV show is going after its former star as the series heads into its sixth and final season.
“I know that they’re trying to get her to [come back],” Kristin told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush in an interview for “The Billy Bush Show.” Lauren left the show after the first half of Season 5 in 2009. “I don’t think anything is set in stone, but I hope that she does because I think that it would just be amazing.”
Kristin added that the former “Laguna Beach” rivals wouldn’t get along if the pair reunited on-screen.
“Probably not for show purposes,” she said, admitting that their real-life relationship is a different story. “I like Lauren a lot. We’ve just put everything behind us. You know, we were in high school when we didn’t like each other so we’ve both moved on from that.”
With or without LC, the show’s sixth season kicked off with plenty of drama on Tuesday as Heidi Montag had her first post-plastic surgery encounter with her mother – and Kristin said there’s more to come.
“[There are] these drug rumors that are going on surrounding me. You’ll see all of it go down,” she said. “We went to Miami for Super Bowl weekend and I didn’t hang out with the girls one night, so they just decide to say that I’m on drugs. It’s ridiculous.”
In fact, Kristin said the rumors went too far for her comfort.
“It’s not something to be taken lightly at all,” she said. “It’s been pretty difficult to deal with… I understand that we need drama for the show, but when it starts to affect my personal life… that’s when I’m not OK with it.”
However, she’s hoping fans tune in – and earn another dozen episodes for the show.
“If you guys watch then we might get 12 more,” she said. “I hope that we really can go out on a high note.”
