LeAnn Rimes Reaches Divorce Settlement With Deane Sheremet

Less than a week after filing for a divorce from LeAnn Rimes, Deane Sheremet has been granted one.

According to Los Angeles Superior Court records, the former couple agreed to a confidential divorce settlement on the same day the divorce wads filed, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

“The [settlement] shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy,” the document states.

Rimes & Sheremet’s marital status will reportedly officially end on June 19, 2010.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Sheremet cited “irreconcilable differences,” as the reason for their split and requested that the court not award spousal support to Rimes. He did, however, request spousal support from the country singer, whom he wed on February 23, 2002.

Since the split, Sheremet has reportedly been spending time in New York City, while Rimes has been spotted out and about in LA with boyfriend Eddie Cibrian, her former co-star from the 2009 Lifetime movie “Northern Lights.” Cibrian is also getting a divorce from his wife, Brandi Glanville. As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Cibrian, a star of “CSI: Miami,” filed his own divorce papers on August 24.
