Leonardo DiCaprio has joined Instagram – and no surprise, his first few posts have a very specific political feel.
The Oscar nominee made his first post on Tuesday morning, where he shared a photo of himself with Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, while attending the UN Climate Summit.

“Today, I have the privilege to speak at the United Nations #Climate2014 Summit where world leaders are expected to announce the bold steps they will take to tackle climate change. Thank you Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon,” Leo captioned the image.
He followed it with a shot from the audience during the event at United Nations Headquarters.
“This seems like the perfect setting to join Instagram and share this view from the UN General Assembly. What a great honor this is. #Climate2014,” he wrote with the second pic.
His third post on Tuesday morning also referenced his efforts during the Climate Summit, where he simply posted a photo that stated, “100% FOR THE 100%.”
Leo’s latest foray into social media came one day after the star made a splash on Instagram, but not for his political views – but rather, his rapping skills.

An Instagram video showing Leo rapping a verse from A Tribe Called Quest’s “Scenario” was posted early Monday morning, before it was eventually deleted – but not before various users uploaded the clip to YouTube.
As of 11 AM PT on Tuesday, Leo had amassed more than 23,000 followers.
