Liam McIntyre: ‘Spartacus: Vengeance’ Season Finale ‘Bigger Than I Could Possibly Imagine’

On Friday, “Spartacus: Vengeance” concludes its Season 2 run and fans should expect “devastation.”

“I want to use the word epic, but I always use the word epic,” series star Liam McIntyre told AccessHollywood.com, trying to describe the season finale, which airs Friday at 10 PM on Starz. “I like to use the word ‘devastating,’ not necessarily because it’s sad, but because it’s devastating. There is devastation.”

Liam hadn’t yet seen the episode himself when he stopped by Access, but he knows “Spartacus” executive producer Steven DeKnight, and his team, wrote and filmed a very, very action packed season finale.

“It’s bigger than I could possibly imagine. I read it and I just can’t understand — I’m so excited to see it, because I can’t understand how they can do what they are proposing that they do,” he said.

Hinting at what’s to come, Liam said, “it gets so out of hand. It’s just big.”

“There’s some excellent strategy from Spartacus,” he added with a nod to his Thracian character.

The actor will actually be in New Zealand being put through his Season 3 gladiator bootcamp paces, but could appear, “between shuttle runs and sprints and dead lifts” he laughed, on Twitter, albeit very, very, briefly. (Click HERE to follow Liam on Twitter)

“I might be able to be like, ‘Uh, exhausted. Was it good?’” he laughed. “But I will try to keep up with everything.”
