Lindsay Lohan ‘Back On Track’ & Recording New Album

Lindsay Lohan appears to have turned her roller coaster life into a rocket ship of potential success. The actress and singer, who has endured multiple car accidents and rehab visits, told People her sights are now firmly focused on her film and music careers.

“My life was distracted by certain things and that got in the way of work,” Lindsay told People on Tuesday at a luncheon for the Paper magazine cover girl, co-hosted by Diesel. “But now I’m back on track and figuring out what’s next.”

Lindsay joined designer Jeremy Scott and DJ pals Samantha Ronson and Steve Aoki, at the event, held in her honor at the Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas.

In addition to filming the comedy “Ye Olde Times” with Jack Black and David Arquette, Lindsay is reportedly working on a new album with an urban and club edge to it.

“[It’s a] dance, hip-hop and R&B album. I’m recording right now [with] Motown and being in the studio again has been really great,” she told the magazine. “It’s all coming together.”
