Lisa Ling Expecting A Baby Girl

Some happy news for Lisa Ling – she’s going to be a mom!

The journalist announced she and her husband, oncologist Paul Song, are expecting a baby girl.

Lisa, 39, who acted as co-host to Anderson Cooper on his talk show “Anderson Live” on Wednesday, shared the news with the studio audience and showed a sonogram of her baby.

This will be the first child for Paul and Lisa, who suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage two years ago.

Lisa opened up about the tragic loss in an appearance on “The View” in December 2010, revealing that after she’d been pregnant for nine weeks, she was told her baby had no heartbeat.

“[I] felt more like a failure than I’d felt in a very long time,” she said at the time, adding that she feared it may happen again, and leave her “devastated.”

After her miscarriage, she began a website, Secret Society of Women, where women can share their personal experiences.
