Loss Of Vision Led To Jack Osbourne’s Multiple Sclerosis Diagnosis

Jack Osbourne’s failing vision was the first indication something was seriously wrong with his health.

“I couldn’t see anything in front of me,” Jack, 26, who was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, told People magazine in an interview for their latest issue.

The former reality star and new dad suffered an 80 percent loss of vision in his right eye due to the disease, but is now beginning a medication and diet regimen to help keep the symptoms at bay.

“It’s just one of those things you take as it comes,” Jack — who received the MS diagnosis just two weeks after becoming a first-time father — said of dealing with his diagnosis. “It’s all about your outlook.”

And Jack’s mom, Sharon Osbourne, says her son is managing to maintain an inspiringly positive outlook despite the devastating news.

“[Jack] is doing so amazing,” she said during an appearance on “Conan” on Tuesday. “He is so strong and positive and yes, my son will conquer!”
