Mariska Hargitay & Christopher Meloni Returning To ‘Law & Order: SVU’

Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni are returning to “Law & Order: SVU” for Season 11, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The stars of the show had been in a pay dispute with show bosses. Late last month, however, Mariska told Access she was hoping things would work out to allow the two, who play Detective Olivia Benson and Detective Elliot Stabler, to come back.

“I hope so,” Mariska told Access Hollywood in May of returning to the show. “We’re all trying to work it out and I have a lot of faith it’s going to work out.”

Former “Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip” actress Christine Lahti will join Season 11, guest starring in the first four episodes as an assistant district attorney. No further details on her character were available at press time.

Additionally, Stephanie March, who began playing A.D.A. Alexandra Cabot in 2000, but left briefly, is returning to the show. Stephanie will return during the fifth episode of Season 11. She will appear in ten episodes in total.
