Mark Cuban Talks Teaming Up With Charlie Sheen; Gives The Actor ‘Shark Tank’ Business Advice

As a proven successful business tycoon, Mark Cuban knows a good thing when he sees it — and apparently, Mark sees a “winning” opportunity with Charlie Sheen.

During his interview with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday, Mark confirmed that he has spoken with the recently unemployed actor about some potential projects on Mark’s HDNet cable channel.

“We definitely discussed doing some things on HDNet. We’re talking about a lot of things,” Mark – who is best known for his ownership of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and his stint on Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” — told Billy and Kit.

“I think something is going to happen, but we’ll have to see what the details are,” he added.

While Charlie’s recent antics and outbursts may be a turn-off to some, Mark thinks it would make for some fascinating TV.

“Charlie’s a smart guy and I don’t think he’s getting nearly as much credit as he deserves for just how much he’s manipulating the media and those around him to his benefit, and I think that would make a good reality show,” the entrepreneur told Billy in a separate radio interview with “The Billy Bush Show” on Monday.

In addition, Mark told Billy, that HDNet could be involved in the actor’s upcoming “Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour.

“We can tape and broadcast his tour, we can broadcast that live into theaters. We could do a movie. We could put it on DVD,” Mark said. “That’s where my mind is turning and going… but at the end of the day, it’s going to be Charlie’s call. We haven’t made any final commitments.”

In the meantime, Mark’s latest TV gig will take him into the investor’s seat as he joins the cast of the ABC reality series “Shark Tank” (Season 2 premieres on March 25), where Mark will compete against other business moguls for the chance to invest in contestants’ proposed business ventures.

No stranger to swimming with “sharks,” Mark said he could also lend his business savvy to Charlie in his future endeavors.

“You know what ? It’s like dealing with the networks – sometimes you negotiate. Those guys think they’re sharks,” Mark told Billy and Kit. “I’m giving Charlie a little ‘Shark Tank’ advice. We’ll see what comes out of it. I think Charlie will be OK.”
