Melissa Rycroft Hospitalized Following ‘Dancing’ Rehearsal Injury

Chalk up another “Dancing with the Stars” injury.

This time, it was former “Bachelor” beauty Melissa Rycroft, who was rushed to the hospital following a rehearsal mishap.

“Melissa was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she was examined,” a rep for Melissa told Access Hollywood on Monday.

Melissa – who is paired with pro dancer Tony Dovolani for the current “DWTS: All-Stars” season – was injured after she fell during rehearsal for a group number.

On Monday afternoon, Melissa’ rep revealed more details on the injury and said the star’s status for Monday night’s show was still up in the air.

“Melissa Rycroft suffered an on set injury during yesterday’s Sunday camera blocking rehearsal and was immediately taken to the hospital. We can confirm Melissa was diagnosed with a disc herniation at the C4-C5 level of her cervical spine. At this time, Melissa’s ability to perform in tonight’s show will be a show time decision,” the rep explained.

On last week’s show, Melissa and Tony once again impressed the judges, netting 37 out of 40 for their jitterbug – good enough for the night’s fourth-highest score.
