A court official says Michael Jackson’s mother will attend a hearing on who should raise the King of Pop’s three children.
Court Public Information Officer Allan Parachini says Katherine Jackson has arrived at a courthouse in downtown Los Angeles. Mrs. Jackson and her son’s ex-wife Deborah Rowe struck an agreement last week that calls for Mrs. Jackson to receive custody of the singer’s children.
A hearing on guardianship of the children, who range in age from 7 to 12, is scheduled Monday. A judge could grant Mrs. Jackson permanent custody of the children, who have been living at her home north of Los Angeles since her son’s death on June 25.
