Mike Tyson Reveals Madonna Double Date Details!

Mike Tyson with Madonna and Sean Penn on a double date seeing a Pee-wee Herman movie?! Access has the details!

The former heavyweight champ stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Friday, to chat about his new documentary, “Champs,” and also talked once going on a double date with Madonna and Sean Penn in the ’80s.

“I was married at the time. She was married to Sean and we went on a double date and we saw ‘Pee-wee’s Big Top Adventure,'” he told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.

According to the former boxing star, “Madonna recommended it.”

As for what Mike – who was married to Robin Givens at the time – thought of the movie, it’s hard to say, he didn’t make it very far in the 1988 film.

“I believe I had a few drinks before I went and I was just …I went to sleep,” he explained. “I’m a Pee-wee Herman fan. But at that particular day I was inebriated, slightly inebriated. I was married. Of course when you’re married you have to be inebriated to function.”

Mike said he wasn’t the only one snoozing when the lights when down.

“Me and Sean talked outside the movie theater, as we went in the movie theater. And we talked again once we both awakened from our coma induced sleep,” he continued.

His connection with the pop star continues 27 years later in the form of “Iconic,” a song from the singer’s new album, “Rebel Heart.” The former boxer introduces the song with a spoken word segment.

“I have the most profound veneration for Madonna. She’s embarked on a journey that supersedes anybody else’s expectations in trying to change the world,” he said of the pop icon.

“The gratitude I possess for having me on her record is just something I can’t even explain, just very grateful. In my world, it’s really a big thing. In my daughter’s world, it’s a big thing,” Mike continued.

“[My daughter] wants to become a director. Madonna was kind enough to speak to her on the phone. Anyone who does something for my children, I’m especially in debt,” he added.

“Champs” opens in theaters today and is also available on VOD.
