Mila Kunis Cried The First Time She Left Newborn Daughter Wyatt Isabelle

Mila Kunis made her first post-baby appearance on Monday night, which was also her first time away from her daughter, and a very emotional night.

On Tuesday, the 31-year-old new mom appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where she opened up about the challenges of being away from daughter Wyatt Isabelle, who she and Ashton Kutcher welcomed in October.

“It’s really weird to be out,” the “Jupiter Ascending” star explained. “This is my very first time out and about. Swear to God! I left [my daughter] at home yesterday for the first time during the premiere. It’s frightening. I have to be honest.

“I was with her every day for the first four months of her little life. I cried,” Mila told Jimmy. “I did. It’s weird. It’s very strange. If anyone’s a mom, and being a stay-at-home mom, it’s a very weird feeling to all of a sudden leave your child.”

Mila’s apprehension about leaving her baby doesn’t have anything to do with Wyatt’s often-wacky dad.

“It’s not that I don’t trust who she’s with,” the actress explained. “It’s just the idea of not being with her. I trust [Ashton]! He’s an incredible father! But the way that I hold the baby and the way that he holds the baby…I mean, he’s like a jungle gym!”

Jimmy told Mila that she appears to have dropped the baby weight “like, immediately.”

“It’s been four months,” the new mom said. “Breastfeeding is like working out.”

Mila also credits staying active since giving birth for helping her shed the weight. She might not have been stepping out on red carpets for the last four months, but the star was busy stepping out in other ways, which included bringing little Wyatt along.

“I am very active. I hike almost every day with her,” she said. “I strap her in a papoose and away we go.”
