Miley Cyrus has been tapped to host 2008 Teen Choice Awards, it was announced on Tuesday.
“Teen Choice 2008” airs Monday, Aug. 4 on Fox.
This year’s nominees are led by the gang from “Gossip Girl,” which snagged 14 total nominations.
R&B superstar Chris Brown isn’t far behind, earning nine nods on his own, while the night’s host, Miley, is up for four awards of her own.
Meanwhile, last year’s reigning Teen Choice champ, Justin Timberlake, will have the chance to add three more surfboards to his collection this year. Since 1999, JT has taken home 21 of the teen awards for solo and group projects.
