‘Milk’ Screenwriter To Direct Liam Neeson

Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black will take a seat in the director’s chair leading Liam Neeson and Jennifer Connelly in his directorial debut, “What’s Wrong With Virginia,” Entertainment Weekly reported.

The movie is based on Black’s script about an unstable mother (Connelly) having an affair with a Mormon sheriff (Neeson), who is running for a seat in the state senate.

Gus Van Sant, who directed Black’s “Milk,” will executive produce the project.

Filming on “What’s Wrong With Virginia” will reportedly start at the end of the summer in Michigan.

Neeson is currently filming the remake of 1981’s “Clash Of the Titans,” where he plays the God Zeus.
