Nancy Grace Recuperating After Hospital Stay

NEW YORK, NY (November 16, 2007) – Nancy Grace is out of the hospital.

The CNN Headline News host had been hospitalized on Sunday, November 11, with blood clots in her lungs, a complication of her recent pregnancy.

A rep for the anchorwoman told that Nancy is “much improved and she’s on the mend.”

Nancy is now recuperating at home with her newborn twins and her husband, David Linch, an Atlanta investment banker.

Grace gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, after doctors induced labor two months before her due date. The babies were born Nov. 4. John David weighed 5 pounds, 1 ounce and Lucy Elizabeth weighed 2 pounds, 15 ounces.

She had developed a pulmonary edema — fluid in the lungs — and doctors told her it would be better for her health, and that of the children, if they induced labor early, the network said.

Earlier this week, a rep for CNN said previously that Grace, a former prosecutor with the Fulton County District Attorney’s office, plans to return to hosting her legal analysis program as soon as possible.
