Nick Cannon Congratulates Ex Mariah Carey On New Engagement

No hard feelings, Mariah! Nick Cannon sure seems like an awfully good sport.

The “America’s Got Talent” host has spoken out for the first time since the news of his ex-wife’s engagement to Australian billionaire James Packer.

In a funny Instagram post shared on Friday night, Nick pokes fun at himself while offering well wishes to the music superstar and her new fiancé.

“Ha! This made me laugh out loud for real!!! HILARIOUS!” he wrote, captioning a screenshot of himself and Kevin Hart in a scene from their BET series “Real Husbands of Hollywood.”

The snap shows Nick lying in a hospital bed with his eyes closed, as Kevin looms over him with a serious stare.

“It’s just a ring Nick..…” text above the pic reads, apparently referencing the massive diamond sparkler Mariah has been spotted wearing since James’ proposal.

“Congrats to @MariahCarey and James! May God Bless Your Future Union,” Nick added, including the hashtags “#AllLove,” “#GreatPeople” and “#GreatCouple.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Mariah and her beau got engaged Thursday night in New York City.

Nick filed for divorce from the singer in December 2014 after six years of marriage. They share 4-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

The former couple appears to have remained on friendly co-parenting terms, most recently sharing a peek at their holiday reunion.

“FestiveFamilyMoments,” Nick wrote on Instagram in December, accompanying a photo of him and Mariah posing with their kids and Nick’s mom.
