Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra said “I do” again on Sunday, this time in a lavish Hindu wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The couple, who both come from different religions backgrounds, wanted to honor both of their upbringings and had two weddings to celebrate their love.
The duo first exchanged vows in a christian ceremony on Saturday, which was officiated by Nick’s pastor dad, Kevin Jonas Sr. Then for the Hindu ceremony on Sunday, Priyanka donned a sari and Nick rocked a traditional outfit and a turban in order to walk down the aisle again.
According to a fan site, Nick rode in on a white horse, which was completely decorated with colorful accoutrements!
An elephant, adorned with golden seats on top, was also seen being walked into the palace grounds.
Priyanka dropped the news that Nick would be riding in on a horse during their Hindu ceremony during an interview with Vogue for their January cover.
“Are you comfortable on a horse?” the 36-year-old actress asked her fiancee. “I am,” Nick, 26 replied. “I can’t wait.”
During the couple’s Christian ceremony on Saturday, Ralph Lauren announced that their design house had dressed both bride and groom. However, we have yet to see an official look at either their Saturday or Sunday looks.
The pair have already had tons of ceremonies and extravagant events to wow their guests, which included Dwayne “The Rock Johnson, Sophie Turner, Elizabeth Chambers and more. The duo had a Mehendi ceremony earlier this week where Nick played cricket and Priyanka dazzled in a colorful sari.
They also had a traditional sangeet — a music and dance night — where their families took part in a rousing dance competition. Nick was joined onstage with his brothers and loved ones to show off his incredible Bollywood-style skills. The pair each shared moments from the special evening on their Instagram accounts. Priyanka revealed that she and Nick were both looking forward to seeing what their families put together to wow one another on the dance night. The “Quantico” star shared a traditional dance with her mother.
