Nick Lachey & Drew Lachey Are Closing Their Cincinnati Bar After 3 Years

It’s time to say goodbye to Lachey’s bar!

Nick Lachey announced that the Cincinnati bar he opened with his brother, Drew, will be closing this weekend after three years. Nick announced the news in a sweet shot on his Instagram account where he’s sitting in the bar with his two kiddos.

He captioned the pic, “Me and my boys enjoying one last hurrah at @lacheysbar. It’s been an incredible 3 Years full of lifelong memories. Thank You Cincinnati for helping me realize a dream and the chance to share it with multiple generations of Lacheys and Lachey fans. We will be closing it’s doors after this Saturday night. Let’s make some more amazing memories this weekend and send her out in style!! #lacheysbar.”

Drew also shared a similar sentiment on his Instagram account.

“As you may have heard, @nicklachey @foureg and I have made the very difficult decision to close the doors of @lacheysbar after this coming weekend,” Drew wrote. “While this is a sad moment for us we also feel blessed to have had the opportunity and want to thank everyone that supported us and made this dream come true for the past 3 years. #NextChapter #OnwardAndUpward #ThankYouCincinnati.”

The two brothers and members of 98 Degrees originally opened the bar as part of a lifelong dream that was documented in an A&E show that ran for one season in 2015.

The closing of their bar comes after tragedy struck one of their staffers. In November, their bar manager Ellie Richardson was shot in the face at Lachey’s after she left work with fellow co-workers. Nick and Drew’s partner, Four Entertainment Group shared a statement on Instagram about the incident and with information about how to raise money for Ellie’s recovery. It was definitely a sad moment in the family-run establishment’s history.

Neither Drew or Nick mentioned the specific reasons behind closing the bar in their posts.
