The One Direction singer confirmed his new fatherhood just one day after reports swirled that Briana Jungwirth had given birth to their first child.

“I’m pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday,” Louis Tweeted on Saturday, adding a baby face emoji to his post.

“He is healthy and pretty amazing,” the 24-year-old continued. “I’m very happy!”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Briana’s pregnancy was first revealed back in July.

The stylist has kept relatively mum on social media since, but recently updated Directioners on her progress with a baby belly photo shared days before giving birth.
“So ready for you my love,” she captioned the Instagram snap.
Further details about Baby Tomlinson have yet to be announced, but fans are already speculating about the newborn’s name.

Louis and Briana may not be a romantic couple, but a source told People over the summer that the pair became committed co-parents as soon as they found out they were expecting.
