Oprah Winfrey Scores Sit Down Interview With Lance Armstrong

Oprah Winfrey has secured a brand new, exclusive interview with Lance Armstrong.

The talk show host’s sit down interview with the disgraced cycling champ, set to air on “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” on Thursday, January 17 on the Oprah Winfrey Network, was described in a release as the athlete’s “first no-holds-barred interview.”

According to OWN, Armstrong will address the “alleged doping scandal, years of accusations of cheating, and charges of lying about the use of performance-enhancing drugs throughout his storied cycling career.”

The interview, conducted at Armstrong’s home in Austin, Texas, will air in a 90-minute special on OWN, on January 17, between 9-10:30 PM, and simultaneously streamed on Oprah.com.

The interview is the first with Armstrong since his seven Tour de France titles were stripped last year, and he was banned for life by cycling’s governing body, which accused him of being part of a massive doping program.
