Pamela Anderson’s Inspiring Story & Crusade

In a public statement earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival announcing the launch of her eponymous foundation, Pamela Anderson surprised fans when she revealed painful and private truths about her childhood.

“After I spoke publicly for the first time about the abuse, I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support I received from fans,” Anderson said. “I realized that simply by sharing my story, I could not only empower others, but I could also leverage that support for the greater good.”

So Anderson decided to partner with Chideo, the charity network, on a revealing new documentary short, “A Conversation with Pamela Anderson.” In this intimate portrait, Anderson talks about the abuse she endured as a young girl, how those events shaped her life and inspired her philanthropic work.

To watch the documentary, fans simply register on Chideo or download the Chideo App. At the conclusion of the program, viewers are encouraged to make a donation of $10 or more to the Pamela Anderson Foundation. The Foundation supports organizations and individuals that stand on the front lines in the protection of human, animal and environmental rights.

Access Hollywood got a sneak peek at the two-part documentary, which delves into the heart and mind of the activist, feminist, mother and actress.

“A Conversation with Pamela Anderson” debuts tonight at 7:30/6:30c only on Chideo.com.
