Did Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s daughter Ava insinuate that her famous father is a Scrooge or a Grinch?
The 15-year-old became Instagram’s newest star this week by teasing her famous father on social media.
In her third ever post, Ava uploaded an image of a tiny snow globe with the caption, “merry minimalist Christmas @ryanphillipppe.”

Both her parents commented on the photo.
“A lil excessive…,” dad Ryan responded.

“Very minimal @avaphillippe,” mom Reese agreed.
“She is great and we’re really excited about the holidays,” Reese told Access Hollywood of her daughter at the “Wild” premiere in November. “It’s a great time to sorta be with friends and family and just excited to have some time off.”
Reese and Ryan have remained amicable exes since splitting in 2007. In addition to Ava, they also co-parent son Deacon, 11.
